Developed and taught courses in electronics, metrology, electro-mechanical technology, computer hardware/software, Internet, and industrial manufacturing technology. Developed and/or coordinated development of 72 credits of competency based metrology curriculum for distance delivery national training. Developed and presented technical courses at 3M, Tescom, Lions Precision, Fluoroware, Control Data, Hutchinson Technology, and Solitra. Increased Computer Systems Technology program student enrollment from 15 students to 150 students in 6 years. Taught courses in computer hardware diagnostics and repair leading to hardware A+ Certification. Developed web based training courses.

Set up and maintained repair and calibration lab traceable to NIST. Repaired and calibrated electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, frequency counters, signal generators, logic analyzers, etc.). Provided measurement assistance to local customers. Refurbished and sold used test equipment.
PHILIPS TEST AND MEASURING INSTRUMENTS (Mpls, MN)
Repaired and calibrated complex electronic test equipment (microprocessor controlled instruments, oscilloscopes, multimeters, frequency counters, signal generators, logic analyzers, etc.). Provided supervisory and technical support for two Philips internal and six contracted service centers throughout the United States. Developed and presented technical training to industry on national basis.
KENNETH W. MEYERS COMPANY (Minneapolis, MN) 7
Opened a branch office for manufacturer's representative firm. Provided sales support to engineers and technicians to solve measurement problems. Sold electronic equipment for several manufacturers including Marconi Instruments, Quan-Tech, Digitec, James Biddle Company, Power Mate Corp., Ailtech, Alford, PRD Microwave Components, and others. Increased branch office sales from a few thousand dollars a year to approximately $450,000/year.
HONEYWELL GOVT SYSTEMS DIVISION (Hopkins, MN) 6
Repaired and calibrated complex electronic test equipment as an electronic technician. Supervised about 6 technicians in receiving inspection measurement area. Promoted to Quality Engineer with full responsibilities for project quality on a government product in a manufacturing environment.
NORTHWEST AIRLINES (St. Paul, MN) 2 Years
Repaired and calibrated communications type equipment on aircraft. Repaired and calibrated analog flight simulator equipment.
